NaNoWriMo

Have been attempting to write 50,000 words for a novel for NaNoWriMo. Mine is in the Mundane Science Fiction genre. Its a great exercise, but allows very little time to edit, which is i suppose the whole point.
The positive is, that I will get the long gestated novel written, and from next month onwards will be able to tinker with it til its as good as I can get it. How good that is, remains to be seen...

King Crimson Remasters

Am looking forward to receiving the new box set of 'In the Court of the Crimson King' . Had the posting confirmation from Burning Shed- looks like an indulgent Crimson weekend!

Matt Stevens- Looping guitarist

Matt Stevens - A great guitarist and all round nice chap- please check out his wonderful guitar music- definite hints of Robert Fripp there.
In an interesting (and successful, it seems) experiment he's running you can pay what you want for his excellent 1st album 'Echo' here

The Enid are back!

Was thrilled to hear of The Enid reforming a few months back. Glorious symphonic mainly instrumental music. Best starting point is the 'Live at Hammersmith' cds as heard on Tommy Vance's (RIP) 'Friday Rock Show' all those years back.
They have ambitious plans for gigs next year, new releases, and if you join the 'Enidi' you get the chance to download their catalogue and pay what you want.
